ITP at Interpack 2026: New Pharma Films, Recyclable T‑Lid and PPWR‑Ready Packaging Solutions
ITP – Industria Termoplastica Pavese Spa will take part in Interpack 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for packaging and processing industries, showcasing Italian excellence in the development and production of polyolefin films for food packaging, medical & pharmaceutical packaging, and industrial applications.
At Hall 10 – Booth B68, ITP will present a broad and structured portfolio of solutions designed to combine high technical performance, process reliability and readiness for the upcoming EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). From 2026, the entire ITP product range is available PFAS‑free, confirming the company’s long‑term commitment to safer materials and future‑proof packaging design.
Three key highlights at Interpack 2026
At Interpack 2026, ITP will spotlight three major developments that define its current innovation strategy: the launch of a new dedicated portfolio for medical and pharmaceutical packaging, the introduction of a new recyclable T‑Lid solution for food applications, and the completion of the transition to a 100% PFAS‑free product range.
These advances support customers across multiple industries in addressing regulatory compliance, packaging safety and sustainability requirements, without compromising on performance or process efficiency.
Food packaging films: high performance, recyclability and PPWR readiness
For the food sector, ITP will showcase a comprehensive range of films developed to meet the most demanding requirements in terms of food safety, shelf life, machinability and packaging efficiency. The portfolio includes:
- Coextruded films for skin packaging and vacuum skin, including the ClearSkinPack® range, enabling vacuum skin packs with excellent product protection and strong shelf appeal
- Thermoforming and top‑lidding mono‑films, engineered to deliver consistent high‑barrier performance, sealing reliability and mechanical stability
- The new recyclable T‑Lid, a PPWR‑ready solution designed to support mono‑material packaging structures while ensuring robust performance on industrial packaging lines
- Solutions for fresh food, ready‑to‑eat and frozen products, including recyclable mono‑PE structures and easy‑open solutions such as FreezyPeel
The food range also includes established solutions for paper‑ and fibre‑based trays, such as PaperG®, developed for high‑performance thermal lamination applications. Created by ITP in collaboration with its lamination partner G. Mondini Spa, PaperG® is fully industrialized and runs seamlessly on G. Mondini tray sealing machines, ensuring reliable and efficient industrial processing.
Product development in ITP is strongly focused on downgauging, material simplification and mono‑material design, in line with design‑for‑recycling principles and compatibility with existing recycling streams.

PPWR‑ready packaging solutions: mono‑materials, recyclability and PCR
To support customers in navigating the evolving European regulatory landscape, ITP will present a selection of PPWR‑ready packaging solutions, including:
- High‑performance recyclable mono‑PE films, such as RecyBariflex® and RecySealflex®, designed as effective alternatives to traditional multi‑material structures
- Films containing post‑consumer recycled (PCR) plastics for secondary packaging and shrink bundling, certified according to recognised international schemes
- Packaging solutions developed to reduce material complexity while maintaining barrier properties, sealability and excellent runnability on automated packaging lines
These solutions help brand owners and converters align regulatory compliance with operational efficiency and industrial scalability.
Medical and pharmaceutical packaging films: new dedicated portfolio
A major highlight of ITP’s presence at Interpack 2026 is the launch of its new, dedicated portfolio of films for medical and pharmaceutical packaging, marking a strategic expansion into highly regulated and high‑value markets.
Produced in LDPE and selected polyolefins, the range includes:
- Films for blister and cold‑form applications, including more sustainable alternatives to PVC
- Liners and films for medical pouches, sticks and sachets
- Peelable films for Tyvek®, engineered to ensure sterility, clean peel performance and mechanical resistance
All medical and pharmaceutical solutions are manufactured in a certified industrial environment, ensuring high levels of traceability and, where required, compliance with the European Pharmacopoeia.

Industrial packaging films: protection, functionality and efficiency
Alongside food and healthcare packaging, ITP will display a selection of films for industrial packaging applications, including:
- Surface protection films (masking films) for metals, plastics, glass and coated surfaces
- Films for technical packaging, labelling and coating applications
These solutions are designed to protect finished and semi‑finished products, improve manufacturing efficiency and support waste reduction across industrial processes.
An integrated and future‑focused approach to packaging
With over 50 years of experience, advanced production assets, continuous investments in manufacturing technologies and a dedicated R&D laboratory, ITP positions itself at Interpack 2026 as a reliable industrial partner for converters, brand owners and machinery manufacturers. The company offers tailor‑made, PFAS‑free and PPWR‑ready packaging solutions that combine performance, compliance and long‑term value across multiple markets.
